Working principle
The filter is a kind of filtration equipment and is a commonly used accessory in fluid production. The filter is a flexible industrial filtration equipment that is widely used in rough filtration and fine filtration of fine chemicals, paints, coatings, inks, resins, latex, cutting fluids and other fluids. Farfly filter equipment is movable and can be flexibly scheduled for use in the workshop.
There are two types of filter trolleys produced by our company. That is, fixed and removable. The conventional configuration of the filter car is:
- One pump and one filter;
- One pump and two filters.
The connections of each pipe of the filter car are quick-change joints, and the filter is quick-opening; the inner and outer walls of the filter are mirror-polished. It is characterized by easy use, easy replacement of filter bags and easy cleaning.
If the shear stress experienced by the coating is less than its yield value, the coating will not flow. After the paint contacts the screen from the outlet, it encounters resistance, and the shear speed it experiences decreases, resulting in a reduction in the shear stress of the paint on the screen surface, weakened fluidity, and a part of it is deposited, and subsequent paint is deposited on it, resulting in The shear force of the paint on the screen surface is reduced to zero, and eventually there is no fluidity. The paint can no longer flow through the filter and is completely deposited on the filter. The cast paint has the ability of shear thinning, and its viscosity decreases as the shear rate increases. If the screen is moved, it will provide tangential force to the contact surface between the screen and the paint, thereby generating shear stress in the paint. When the shear stress exceeds the yield force of the coating, the coating can flow through the screen. As long as the mesh size of the screen is selected to be smaller than the gravel, the gravel can be filtered out.

Installation operation
Install
- After manufacturing this filter in our factory, the fixed filter has been equipped with feet and anchor screws; The mobile filter has been equipped with wheels. It is equipped with pipes and valves and leaves the factory after passing inspection.
- The fixed filter is firmly fixed with anchor screws in place. The mobile filter must press the wheel brake during operation.
Debug
- Open the top cover of the filter, clean the inner wall of the filter and install the filter bag.
- Use water as the test medium, connect the pump inlet pipe, open each valve and confirm that the inlet and outlet pipes are smooth;
- Turn on the pump to perform a test run and check for leaks in the pipeline; (For centrifugal pump or diaphragm pump operation, please refer to the “Centrifugal Pump Instructions” and “Diaphragm Pump Instructions” attached with the machine)
- Drain the water after testing. Carry out a functional test of the material.
Use and maintenance
- For the fixed filter, the anchor screws should be checked periodically to confirm that they are firmly fixed and not loose. The mobile filter cart should periodically check whether the wheel screws are loose and tighten them in time.
- Check the filter bag periodically to keep it clean; Check the use of the filter bag regularly and replace it in time if it is damaged.

Q3: How to choose a filter?
A3: It is necessary to decide what precision grade paint filter is required based on the raw materials of the paint and the fineness and quality requirements of the final finished paint. For example, the precision requirements of paint filling filters for marine paint are between 75 microns and 150 microns. An automatic paint filter can be used, and a metal wedge wire filter is used internally to filter out large impurity particles in the paint to a certain fineness. You can enter the automatic paint filling machine. If it is used for color paint and electrophoretic paint in the automotive industry, the requirements are relatively high, and precision paint filters are needed, such as bag paint filters or filter element paint filters, to achieve higher filtration accuracy. In particular, electrophoretic paint also uses degreasing filter bags to remove the silicone in the paint to avoid the formation of shrinkage cavities. Considering the cost of paint filter bags and paint filter elements, multi-stage paint filters are often designed, with a metal paint filter in front for pre-filtration to reduce the use of filter bags and filter elements.
